Off towards a crappy weekend. Meanwhile, politicians across the nation continue ignoring this glaring problem of guns on our streets. Passing legislation dropping these horrific numbers is easy. Yet, our politicians are beholden to money pouring in from the NRA and ALEC, not their constituents. Can you imagine the impact of universal background checks? The closing of the gun show loophole? Or, how about tougher sentencing for repeat gun offenders? Those are just a few simple solutions awaiting legislative passage. Now, are you still wondering why they don't?
