Cops: 13-year-old robbed cabdriver at gunpoint

Cops: 13-year-old robbed cabdriver at gunpoint

Well folks here's another saga of epic parenting failure.

Remember those questions from the last story? What's a 13 year old doing out that late? And can anyone explain why this kid had access too a gun? Will the parent/s be charged and or fined?

Have you parents ever heard of this thing called CURFEW? Do you even care that the kid was out past curfew with an illegal gun? Did you just give up on the kid? You may as well now. But don't fret. He'll be back out on the streets doing the same stupid crap again. That's how the criminal justice system works you know.

God forbid he had some pot on him. Then they would have thrown the kid in jail for 5-7 years. But since he had an illegal gun, and robbed a cab driver, hell he'll be back on the streets in no time.

Yep folks another saga in epic parenting failure for sure.

3 shot in separate West Side shootings

3 shot in separate West Side shootings

Hello Parents.

Why is a "13 year old" out that late? And why is he with a "20 year old"? Is the guy a relative? If so, why didn't he make him go home? And if not related, why are you letting a child be around such a person?

Do you really care about these kids? Or are you just going through the motions and waiting on that visit, or phone call telling you the kid is either dead, or in jail? Are you parents, working, or huffing bath salts, and crack? Have you ever heard of this thing called "Curfew"?

Why is a "13 year old" out at that time parents? Don't you even care?

Illinois must decide how to implement health law

Illinois must decide how to implement health law

That would not be a problem had they followed the lead of another state that implemented a single payer system.

Many voters think the Illinois legislature should get off its collective ass, and begin leading the nation in education, health, energy, transportation, and jobs overall. But for now, this state appears that it hasn't even discovered the use of fire. They waste countless tax dollars fighting amongst themselves picking tax payers pockets clean, while enriching their own. How many signs slapped in your face do you need, in-order to see the winds of change are blowing?

This should have been decided two years ago. Show some leadership for once, and implement a single payer system.

Scientists are challenged to find the origin of life

Scientists are challenged to find the origin of life

Interesting.

From the theological perspective we have two scenarios, with both, mixed in science. Take for instance the first mix. "Let us make man in our own image." That would theoretically speaking, be like the birth of a star. We are carbon-based material afterall.

The second scenario is plain old dirt. "For dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return." Another carbon-based material.

I win. Where's my money?

Brewer accuses Obama administration of telling Arizona to 'drop dead'

Brewer accuses Obama administration of telling Arizona to 'drop dead'

You should be very ashamed of yourself people of Arizona for ever electing mentally unstable people like this embarrassment of a governor.

Common sense told you this "Bill" was purely racist, and the Supreme/Corporate Court proved it. So much for buying off judges. Yet this clown of a governor jumps on the idiot box and claims she "won" one minute, and soon as the sun set she cries the wolf ticket of a Black Man speaking to her, just so she can't get even more racist on her side.

Yep! What a complete embarrassment of a governor you have there.

Would finding aliens shatter religious beliefs?

Would finding aliens shatter religious beliefs?

Well there's a simple answer for that question. Yes, it would for those that are not as informed as others. Any theologian will tell, and show you, exactly where the almighty held a "Meeting" and declared "making man in our own image".

That statement alone informs the reader that "others" were present when this was said. I should point out that this may not be a read for those that choose not to believe, or follow religion. But, it does present some interesting questions for those that do engage in deep thinking. For instance, the devil, also known by his given name, Lucifer. Where did he come from? Why was he, and others created? From other accounts Lucifer translates into English as the term "Light". This account, or story comes from "The Lost Books" collection, which goes on telling the story of what happened to Adam and Eve, after getting the proverbial boot from Eden. It also gives a description of how Lucifer came to being, and the task he was charged with. It even goes on to tell how pissed he became when he was instructed "To Bow Down" too Adam.

Anyway, ask yourself this. How come we know both Herod's existed but not Christ? Why do we know Pontius Pilate existed, and Christ doesn't? Isn't it odd that there is documentation that these three existed, yet the one person that gave them so much angst, simply vanished?

If other life forms are out there, those that do believe, and think so, will have many questions should "Aliens" decide to make themselves known to our still evolving humanity. Will it "Shatter" others beliefs? Some, yes, others, not so much.

Cops: Busts close 3 drug markets on South, West sides and land 49 in jail

Cops: Busts close 3 drug markets on South, West sides and land 49 in jail

Sounds like a RICO case. Good, now just make sure they are not back on the streets in a couple of years.

Hold them with no bond. Send a very loud message. I feel 20 or more years is very much appropriate. Especially the douche that pointed an illegally obtained gun at police. If they are let back out on the streets in less than five years, what's the entire point of signing RICO laws? From this perspective, the State must show, and send a sharp message to those that indulge in organized, or in these idiots case, disorganized crime, will not have the proverbial pot for pissing in. Send them to that empty, super max prison to rot.

So please use this as an example. Lock them up, and don't let them out in a few years. 20 or more is appropriate.

If This Is True, Do It

Winds of Change....
Warren Buffet is asking each addressee to forward
this email to a minimum of twenty people on their
address list; in turn ask each of those to do likewise.
In three days, most people in The United
States of America will have the message.
This is one idea that really should be
passed around.
_*Congressional Reform Act of 2012*_
1. No Tenure / No Pension.
A Congressman/woman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they're out of office.
2. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security.
All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into
the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.
3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.
4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.
5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.
6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.
7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void effective 12/31/12. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen/women.
Congressmen/women made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in
Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their
term(s), then go home and back to work.
If each person contacts a minimum of twenty people then it will only take three days for most people (in the U.S. ) to receive
the message. Don't you think it's time?
THIS IS HOW YOU FIX CONGRESS!
If you agree with the above, pass it on. If not, just delete.
You are one of my 20+ - Please keep it going, and thanks.

City Council advances mayor’s plan to ticket for pot - Chicago Sun-Times

City Council advances mayor’s plan to ticket for pot - Chicago Sun-Times

Interesting. "90% result in zero arrest or conviction."

Told you pot is a waste of time and resources. We would all be better off just taxing, and regulating the munchies maker.

Top cop: Police would still make arrests in some cases under pot ticket law

Top cop: Police would still make arrests in some cases under pot ticket law

Like I've stated before, it's a start.

There's no need for raving about how pot is less dangerous than booze and smokes. There's no need for pointing out the epic failure of the "War on Drugs." We also know for a fact, it was the lumber, and newspaper barons that saw the potential economic threat pot presented to their bottom line. As each generation grows, and others fade into memory, common sense always prevails.

So with that said, let's sit back and see where this goes. Once again, it's a start.

Obama invokes executive privilege over Fast and Furious documents

Obama invokes executive privilege over Fast and Furious documents

In other words. If you want former Bush cabinet members thrown in jail, you will have to do it the right way.

But, we all know the car thief turned congressman will never do such. So now, the less government party will waste more taxpayer dollars taking this too court. So here we have a president saving his predecessor's collective ass by invoking executive privilege. One can only wait before this clown of a congressman is indicted himself. There's an old saying about people that protest too much.

Some day, all of his skeletons will coming rolling out of the closet, and he will soon find himself going to jail, because someone did it the right way.

2 men fatally shot in North Austin neighborhood

2 men fatally shot in North Austin neighborhood

My gut informs me that this was a classic hit, and not your random idiot gang shooting.

With as little detail this article covers, you can't help but surmise, this shooter could possibly be prior military service. Double head shots? Coming out of nowhere? This was planned.

What do you think? Random idiot gang shooting, or a planned hit?

Man charged with DUI after hitting pony in Yorkville

Man charged with DUI after hitting pony in Yorkville

As hot as it was, and is, don't you think boozing it up, and then deciding it would be a good idea to operate a vehicle of any kind isn't a very bright idea?. Of course you do. But, for that one magnificent dumb-ass attack, people still do it.

A pony? Wow! That booze makes you do some magnificent dumb-ass things.

Chicago police aiming to quell violence over hot, busy weekend

Chicago police aiming to quell violence over hot, busy weekend

You can't but commend them for the effort, but in the long scheme of things, fixing stupid is a twenty-four-seven endeavour.

Look at it from this perspective. Years ago there was a steel plant in the city, among other manufacturing jobs. There was a television plant that was transportation friendly in the western suburbs. There even was a chemical plant in the south western suburbs, that was only a proverbial hop, skip, and expressway from the city.

All of them now gone. Many moved further south and west, where commuting via public transportation became a challenge. In layman's terms. If you didn't own a vehicle, you were basically fucked. So with these employment opportunities gone, our urban youth really had nothing economically stimulating looking forward. The only options were minimum wage jobs in the restaurant, and retail sectors.

So we all know what happened next. They saw that they could make more money peddling dope. And now we have the great idiot run of barely educated youths on our streets. It does cost money for educating them. It cost money for imprisoning them. It cost money for feeding them. So what do we do? Well, yes saturating the streets with officers is a start. But more is always needed. The Mayor is tinkering around with the idea of issuing citations for pot possession. That's a start. But employers are still going to make them piss in a cup. That can't be good. Consider this. Legalize pot. Tax it. Regulate it like cigarettes and booze. Get together with employers and have them only test for coke, and the other hard, and more dangerous drugs. And while you are at it. Have these employers use the same standards when an employee comes into work drunk.

At the very least, it is a start. Fixing stupid is indeed, a twenty-four-seven occupation.

Quinn signs Medicaid cuts, cigarette tax hike

Quinn signs Medicaid cuts, cigarette tax hike

I'm wondering if the politician also stopped double-dipping taxpayers for sitting on different committees, and collecting duel pensions for sitting on different committees?

I'm betting no such thing happened. If you don't clean up the mess you made by giving away tax cuts to companies that lay workers off, and split town after you gave them a tax cut, how in the hell do you expect voters to believe any word you ever utter again? These are the glaring problems you politicians never address. Why? Because these companies bought you. Just look at Chicago. We have an alderman with police protection. Why? Gunfire is erupting across the city, but this guy sticks it to us taxpayers only because he has a fear of Black people for what he did when Harold Washington was mayor. Give me a break.

They are doing the same thing you do down state. They also sit on different committees, and double-dip pensions. And just like you down state, they go after us before they even think about cleaning up the mess they created. Cut service to the people, not never cut their perks. I can hear them now. Oh if I cut back, it will be more difficult to serve you. Bullshit! We hardly see your asses in the first place. You hide from us because you don't want to be told how sleazy the shit you are pulling is so foul.

But don't worry politicians. What you do in the dark, always comes to the light. Think about that as you sit on your multiple, double-dipping committees.

Somebody Do Some Research

Taking a cue from the near extinct investigative journalism, will somebody do a little digging, and fact-check this pontification.

" A study was done at the end of LBJ's administration. It was cheap,
as such things go @ $80M.  One recommendation was, pot ought
to be legalized; sold at drug store tobacco counters or ABC stores.
(Another...tax...cash-cow.)  But holier than thou, Nixon, came in,
pounded the bible--And shit canned the idea.
The people at the top of the drug pyramid--Some of the wealthiest
families in America--learned a lesson when Prohibition was abolished
and were not about to let it happen with pot.  Pot was, and still is,
the "hook" to pull the punters in.  Pot won't be legalized if they have
their way...and they usually do have their way.  Organized crime had
the second most powerful lobby in Washington then and, probably, still
has--So it will have to be done on the state level.  (In California: $100
just for the card plus $350 an ounce.  Estimate: $1,200\month)

In Thailand you can walk into any drug store and buy anything--with the
exception of a narcotic--without a prescription.  Here, the medication
will cost four-times-or-more as much as there and add $295.00 for an office
call to the doctor who writes the prescription--But if you can afford good
health insurance @ about $150.00\Mo., plus your deductible and another
$40\Mo. medicare premium you may be able to get that medication almost
as cheap as in Thailand...If you don't get in the dreaded doughnut hole.
Everyday, I find myself wishing I could sell up and move there.  Some twits
call it the Great Whorehouse By the Sea.  Frankly, I think they have the
wrong end of the stick."

Romney touts healthcare plans ahead of Supreme Court ruling

Romney touts healthcare plans ahead of Supreme Court ruling

Without all the double-speak, he just said he isn't going to do anything. Think about his plan that he put in-place in his state? How, what, and why is he going to replace the Affordable Care Act with?  The same plan he has in Massachusetts. It's as simple as that. Now look at the other states tinkering with a single payer plan. If these states ever get such plans enacted, they will have nothing to do with anything this guy will even attempt to enact.

Even if he does anything, those states that have enacted a single payer system will find big insurance companies, with Mitt's blessing, lawsuits from here to eternity. Simply because they want a piece of the money. God forbid this guy is elected because all he will do is enrich the insurance, and pharmaceutical companies wallets more than our current president did with the Affordable Care Act.

Whenever you hear a politician yammer about the "Free Market", head for the hills. There is no such thing as a free market system simply because someone has to pay. Each and every time, it's the people, not the top earners that do.

New Illinois law beefs up street gangs prosecution

New Illinois law beefs up street gangs prosecution

Finally!

Now watch the ignorant "Leaders" of these gangs run for cover as they crack-down on their ultra-stupid foot soldiers.

My only question, why did it take so long? They have the same set-up as the age-old mob, according to hierarchy, but are completely inept when it comes to discipline. Hence all the senseless shootings.

Finally!

Tribune Watchdog: Soccer stadium deal kicks Bridgeview taxpayers in the teeth

Tribune Watchdog: Soccer stadium deal kicks Bridgeview taxpayers in the teeth

Holy Cow!

After reading this article, it would not make a difference if the looters were republican or democrat. They both would have done the same thing under "Home Rule." I could simply go on a epic rant on how these sleazy, double-dipping politicians find new and creative ways of raping their constituents. But, the only simple solution for the voters is become more informed, ask questions, hold them accountable, and never let them "Walker" you.

Other than that, Holy Cow!

Is This Right???

Willard Mitt Romney can not take the oath of office for the Presidency!
He would have to swear to a lie!
The Mormon church does not espouse the separation of church and state!
Willard Mitt Romney is a Mormon Bishop.
Willard can not swear to defend and protect the Constitution of The United States ...
without lying or violating his faith and his clerical appointment!
Believe It or Not!

If this is correct about such teachings, all those congressional, and senate members should have been kicked out of the church right?

But, as with any religion, contradiction, and hypocrisy go hand in hand.

My guess would be all that artificial crap they put in "prepackaged food".

Look, if you could slaughter your own cow, pig, sheep, or chicken you would at the very least, know what your eating. The same holds true if you grew your own fruits and vegetables.

So as far as this "Study" is concerned, I give it a major Uh Duh! No shit Sherlock.

When it comes to Madigan, there's no debate: It's time to take out the trash

Dear Mr. Kass.

Stop bitching, and start running for his seat, and clean house. That's what needs to be done should you feel that way towards this guy. Now I know it may be difficult running against him. He brings home the proverbial beacon in his district. That's tough to beat right there. The people will never vote for anyone else that can't deliver.

So, set up a platform that will deliver, and hit the ground running. Asides from that, stop bitching, and run. No excuses.

Cigarette tax scofflaws, beware: Illinois is on the lookout for you

Cigarette tax scofflaws, beware: Illinois is on the lookout for you

Reality Check: You can't even stop the flow of drugs in this country on a combined State and Federal level. What makes you think this will work?

And by the way, how did prohibition work out for ya? This is nothing more than another War On Something, which always fails. Look, you have better things to do like, legalize pot and tax it also. Once you do that, people will always find it Cheaper in another State. So in reality, cigarettes, and pot are both No Win Attack Strategies. The proof is in the historical data.

So, Reality Check Time. Go right ahead and tax them both. People will still hunt for bargains.

Supreme Court rules for Secret Service in Cheney case

Supreme Court rules for Secret Service in Cheney case

A very interesting ruling that suggest had he not touched the war criminal, the probability of winning a decision would have greatly risen. That's the take0away I get from such a ruling. The only reason he was arrested, was for putting an open hand on a disgusting war criminal.

The lesson. Always use your constitutionally protected free speech, but never, never touch war criminals.

Favorable legislation flows to private clients of House Speaker Madigan

Favorable legislation flows to private clients of House Speaker Madigan

Yet here they are picking on employee pensions, while never dealing with their own double-dipping. When is enough, enough?

The only reason shit like this is legal, is because we the people allowed it. It's a simple process we the people go through. We want decent roads, police, and fire protection. We go about our daily lives not giving a shit about all the legalese mumbo jumbo going on down state. All we care about is working, and paying our bills. So we turn a blind eye to the crap these guys get away with, only to be enraged when we FINALLY find out what the hell they are doing with the money we pay them.

Shit such as this, should be illegal. Along with getting EXTRA PAY for sitting on different committees. Yet, we let these guys and gals, republican and democrat, write this crap in our state constitution, and judges go right along with it. So what do we the people do? Well for starters, the rules of the house and senate need changing, along with finding HONEST people to replace these jack-holes. Next we make a tweak to our state constitution, forbidding such activities, with a very long prison stay for those that violate it.

I honestly believe, should we the people do such, it will send a clear, thunderous boom not only down state, but in our cities, towns, and villages of the people we elected, that we have had enough of this double-dipping, and refuse paying for it anymore.

The teachers, nurses, policeman, and fire fighters are not, and never have been the problem. It is you guys and gals, republican, and democrat that are. So one day, we will awake from our gullible slumber, and proclaim loudly, enough is enough.

Marijuana initiative could make or break Obama in Colorado

Marijuana initiative could make or break Obama in Colorado

Mr. President, it is time for the proverbial reality check. You and I smoked the stuff years ago. We do not anymore, nor did we have to go into rehab just to quit. You, like myself, continued our educational pursuits, and with mixed results, you became President of The United States, while I am on permanent disability from an injury from my last job. Smoking pot wasn't the reason for our paths in life. It was only a recreational phase for us both.

We both know that the marijuana laws on the books were placed there from unfounded fear, and lobbying by the timber lords during the 1930's, and became the law of the land in 1936. Now when we cover all that data from that time period up to now, we see that marijuana posed no threat then, and no threat now. Well, the only threat it poses now, is the prolific incarceration rates of young people. Particularly, people of color. These incarcerations inhibit those people of continuing educational, vocational, and employment opportunities. This, we both know, is a fact.

With that said Mr. President, let's tamp-down on the raids. How about you treat this matter like you instructed the Justice Department on the Defense of Marriage Act? You, and I both know that cigarettes, and booze are more dangerous then a joint or two will ever be.

Pot can be taxed and regulated just like the more dangerous cigarettes and booze. Employers can keep the same rules in effect they have today. Think about that for a second. People can see and smell when a person has been smoking, or drinking no matter how much they try and mask it. So let's chill on the raids, and let people have some weekend, recreational phases.

Walsh: Democrats' 'game' is to make minorities dependent on government

Walsh: Democrats' 'game' is to make minorities dependent on government

Oh really Joe? Who do you work for? Without your pay, what would you do? And speaking of your pay. Why haven't you supported the life you brought into this world?

Now let's talk about dependency. It's seems apparent that you are dependent on us taxpayers for health insurance, but not for the life you brought into this world. What's up with that? You are also dependent on us taxpayers for the current job you hold, for now. So what do you have to gain by using bigoted, non-factual remarks about us poor, some well-off working, and still out there looking for work minorities? Do you even bother studying history, and factual records? Of course not.

We know you say things of this nature, for the simple fact that you truly don't have a proverbial pot to piss in. Where's your solution for ensuring that minorities are not dependent on government? Naturally, you don't have one. You see Joe (Dead-Beat-Dad) Walsh, if you did have a solution, we would see some legislation from you. But, since you just made this accusation up for nothing more than stirring the pot with like-minded bigots, and dead-beats, no such legislation exist.

My theory is that you are trying to get the attention of that Ricketts guy's money. You know, the father of the Cubs owners that's embarrassing his kids with bigoted accusations against the current president? Yeah, that guy. Will you be attending the slanderous film opening that was produced from a person probably not Born Here?

And speaking of births. There's a guy who has 30. Yet he's paying. It might not be much, but it's a fact he's paying because he asked the judge for some slack, because of his meager wages. Why haven't you supported the life you brought into this world?
