Preckwinkle wants to eliminate unincorporated areas in Cook County
For some, this may just be a no brainer. But for others that appear to oppose this idea, it seems a bit selfish when you don't want to pay for police, and fire protection.
Look at your other alternative. Private security? Guess what? You are still paying. That's what will happen when you only think of your self interest, and a private company swoops in and BUYS the area. And guess what? They will charge you more than a meager tax increase ever could.
So here's your choice. Either buckle down and pay for Constitutionally sworn law enforcement to serve and protect or, hire Blackwater and sit-back and watch them trample over your rights.
