Leading aldermen in no rush on City Council protester crackdown



Another case of wasting taxpayer money defending an unconstitutional "Bill".

In all my years residing in this city, I've never witnessed such a blatant attack on Constitutional First Amendment Rights. Strange. Just when one thought the GOP was attacking us with big intrusive rules, here comes the Democrats.

The only solution for preventing these mini-dictators from stifling our constitutional rights, is fielding a new crop of progressive candidates. Sure they have installed multiple hurdles for anyone seeking public office. But, with the horrendous Citizens United decision, raising money isn't a problem anymore. The people of Chicago deserves better. We need a new movement of progressive candidates that will actually take an oath of "Protecting and Defending The Constitution of The United States". These mini-dictators must be voted out, and permanently unemployed. They have failed in their sworn duties, and must be held accountable.

Any legal mind will tell you this "Proposal" is blatantly unconstitutional. If these mini-dictators implement this attack on Free Speech, Assembly, and our right to address grievances, a court fight will ensue, and that, is just a simple waste of tax dollars by mini-dictators defending oppression. Something the GOP is well versed in, and Democrats, trying to mimic.
