I do hope they investigate how that dirt-ball obtained that weapon and charge him accordingly. I noticed the article didn't say if he had a valid gun card. If he doesn't, felony charges should apply. Yet, the saddest part about this story, this would have been a private sale legally, or illegally. Hence, no background check. That is the law that should, and desperately needs fixing.

Guess what fellow citizens? There's still no elected official sitting, nor campaigning for universal background checks, reforming the sentencing guidelines, or closing the open-air gun show loopholes. Shameful isn't it?
What do they do instead? They allow an ultimate ghoul letting children fire guns. Teaching children how to kill isn't very christian in my book, nor Gods. Disgusting and shameful isn't it?

So much for that "report" the police department released. I've stated a thousand times, they will not stop until our lawmakers get serious about reforming the criminal justice system.
The strange thing about all this, I haven't seen a judge anywhere hold a press conference putting the blame on lawmakers for tying their hands with these insane sentencing guidelines. What is the rational for allowing an ex-con back on the streets when caught with an illegally obtained firearm? How many judges smacked their foreheads when they realized after watching a newscast, they let an ex-con out that killed innocents? Why are they throwing people with mental health issues in jail or prison, and not a mental health institute?

Everyday, and I mean everyday right around the corner in-front of a small store on damn near every block, the same group of young men of color are just standing there selling, and using drugs during daylight hours. And get this. While kids are coming and leaving school. Guess who drives by and does nothing? If you said police, you win.
So here we go again with police polishing up the turd, and trotting it out. And by the way, what "overall crime is declining"? What part of "murders and shootings up" equate in this decline? That sure sounds like some fuzzy republican math. Maybe the police are referring too that isolated hub called downtown? They certainly can't be talking about minority community's. So again I ask. What the fuck are you doing about it?
