Meanwhile, our politicians and clergy continue ignoring everything but their own pocket books. Yeah, that's right. The ones running the federal government are on "vacation". That's actually code for begging donors for money and not visiting their very own voters. There are several simple legislative actions the voters actually want but, our politicians just refuse enacting any. One major piece of legislation is criminal justice reform. Hell, the Koch brothers want that yet the politicians (GOP) keep taking their money and still refuse taking it up. Imagine a sentencing guideline that deals with repeat gun offenders or straw buyers in unison across the country? The Koch brothers want that. But the GOP digging in their pockets refuse delivering even that. I wonder what will happen when those wallets close up?
