You all do know this is about turf in the infamous drug wars right? So ask yourself, how in the hell are drugs still flowing into cities, suburbs, villages, and towns all across America since the "War on Drugs" began? Good question right? Deportations were up under the previous administration. Detainment's not deportations are up under the current administration, basically because most are possibly illegal detainment's. Yet, the drugs still flow. Think about that. Since the weakening of the nations gun laws at the state level began, shootings have risen. It's much easier for a person with a mental impairment to slip through the cracks and purchase weapons at their hearts content. The proliferation of prescription drugs into all communities making the people dependent for more, entices them into crime to satisfy their needs. Sadly, the two are related and violence ensues.

The politicians at the local, state, and federal levels have tied the hands of the courts and law enforcement behind their respective backs with sentencing guidelines and guns everywhere laws, as they look the other way and allow pharmaceutical companies to poison their constituents. This inaction breeds crime. The people hooked on the prescription drugs need a supplier. The people hooked on crack and cocaine need a supplier. Hell, the people were marijuana is legal need a supplier. The only difference between them all, pot-heads don't commit crimes because they are stoned and in-front of a television set.  That leaves only the hardcore drug suppliers battling for turf and consumers. The consumers of the hardcore drugs can't hold a job and must steal so they can satisfy their indulgence. Henceforth, crime increases. The suppliers must expand or takeover more land peacefully or violently so they can meet their consumers demand. Whenever it can't be done peacefully, arms are taken up and violence ensues. Henceforth, crime increases. There's your cause and causality. Or, in simpler terms, the two are related.
