2 Killed, 9 Wounded In Tuesday Shootings Across Chicago
A few minutes ago I "Tweeted" that our sentencing guidelines need fixing. The reason for that is, the criminal justice system is beyond broken. More drug addicts sit behind bars as criminals with gun charges walk the streets. That's fucked up.
It should be the exact opposite. Yet, here we are again with politicians living in bizarre-row world passing legislation we don't want or need. They don't go after the straw buyer of guns. They don't close the gun show loophole. They don't pass legislation for universal background checks. They don't ban internet sales of firearms. They refuse repealing the law where individual citizens can sue gun makers and neighboring states with weaker gun laws for the loss of a loved one.
Yet, people keep voting for these puppets of the NRA and gun makers even when their family or friends become victims of gun violence. That's fucked up people.
