Meanwhile, our politicians continue ignoring the carnage. I recently heard a big fat lie on a national newscast that this city has some of the "toughest gun laws in the nation". Allowing people access to conceal carry weapons isn't tough, it's ridiculous. All the states surrounding Illinois have the weakest gun laws in the nation. So residents here, sorry STRAW BUYERS, go there and make purchases on behalf of the domestic terrorist out of fear.
With that being stated, again I ask. What happened with all those cameras with gunshot detectors? I haven't heard a peep from the media, nor politicians about this subject. They all touted this would be the end all of crime as we know it. Yet, once installed, shootings went up. Were the domestic terrorist correct when they stated; "they don't work, they just put them up to scare us".?
