Astronauts could survive Mars radiation for long stretches
You have to love science. Unless of course, you are a republican. Then, and only then, you'd scream, a witch!
This is very encouraging news for scientist, and potential astronauts for that one day soon, journey to the red planet. Just imagine the things that can, and will be done. Astronauts could do a rescue mission for the disabled Spirit rover. They could clean it up, replace the busted wheel, and let it continue doing science missions astronauts can't, in the event of a solar storm.
Its been established that water once flowed on Mars. So there is always that remote possibility of fossil remains. Only astronauts on the surface digging away could either prove, or disprove such a theory. Unless, then again, you are a republican, screaming a witch!
