Media Madness

Christ please give these people something better to talk about. As we all know there are much more important things going on all over this beautiful planet. Nevertheless, when we turn on the infamous "Boob-Tube", we can't help but feel like a boob. The endless repeat of nothing news, is nearly enough to drive one to the brink of insanity. The Cambridge Police have released the "911 Tapes", along with the recorded dispatch of the incident at the inarticulate professor's home. The 24/7 News Cycle is going through them with the "fine-tooth comb", for anything to exploit. So far, they haven't found any "bombshell's" as of yet. But you can bet once they do, it will get played until you can't take it anymore.

Other than that, people are still losing jobs, homes, and the wealthy continue to play the system for more and more money. Our congressional representatives can't figure out a health care bill to help everyone, yet we already have systems in place (Medicare & Medicaid) that do work. Well, works sometimes when the greedy doesn't get the chance to skim money from them. And then there are the gangs, drug peddlers, and users running amok throughout communities. What will it take to get the 24/7 News cycle to get on these stories? No ones knows for sure, but at these current trends, things will escalate. Certain things always get worse before they get better. Maybe that is the route this country must take. So in the meantime, let us use the technology we have at our disposal, and get on the 24/7 News cycle to get their sleeves rolled-up, get those hands dirty, and give us some real investigative old-fashioned journalism for a change.

But then again, it's just a theory.
