This kind of stuff makes you wonder about how the Mayor is running his administration. They lay-off people, not bothering to check if some of them have the skills to assist other departments that need help to reduce "overtime cost".
One employee rakes in $23,000 + alone in the month of March. Yet this Mayor wonders why he's facing budget deficits. They have 38, yes count them, 38 vacancies in this one department alone. One would think to find out if any of these laid-off employee's had the necessary skills to go over there and lend a hand.
But then again, it's just a theory.
