How Republicans lost their mojo

How Republicans lost their mojo

Mojo? They never had it. The only explanation they made it to the White House was lies. They lied their way into office.

Also, you left out voter suppression, and blatant bigotry from your list. Remember those posters of the President with a bone in his nose? Remember the ones still coming out this year? And by the way, since you work for a newspaper, have you heard or read what they did in Arkansas? In the event you didn't, the "War On Women" continues. And before I forget, how about that racist Supreme Court Justice? "Racial Entitlement"? Are you fucking kidding me? By the way. By that ignorant logic, the same could be applied to women as "Gender Entitlement". A reporter should ask that racist ass-clown that question. Oh wait, I forgot. You guys, and gals want "Access". So asking a real question will get you banned.

Mojo? WTF dude.
One explanation is that Republican candidates have done so much to hurt themselves — insulting women with obtuse remarks about abortion, alienating Latinos by demonizing illegal immigrants and fighting same-sex marriage despite the public's shift in favor of it. - See more at: http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/columnists/ct-oped-0228-chapman-20130228,0,2905352.column#sthash.5nXr5QFe.dpuf

State House gun votes: Lifesaver or stunt?

State House gun votes: Lifesaver or stunt?

Why would any sane individual want a firearm at a sporting event, or any other public venue where children may be present while adults gulp booze? These paid for republicans have lost their collective minds.

Democratic lawmakers voted in favor of prohibiting concealed weapons in places like casinos, libraries, hospitals, mental health centers, child care facilities, stadiums and amusement parks.
"When they get done with this, you won't be able to carry anywhere," said Rep. David Reis, R-Willow Hill, expressing a frustration among many gun rights advocates as they watched restrictions get piled on.

Boy, 16, charged with Bucktown sexual assault

Somebody screwed that kids life up. I wonder if they will investigate his home situation? I wonder if they will find more trouble there? I wonder if they will do anything in the future if they find out about previous run-in's with the law?

Shootings kill 1, hurt 4 on West and South sides

Another weekend of mayhem. And the award for really bad parenting goes to the Ford City Mall dickheads, that ran wild there. Those parents should really beat some sense into their kids. That is just sad.

Transit officials call for restrictions if concealed carry law is enacted

Transit officials call for restrictions if concealed carry law is enacted

With all this shit going on in the city, these (and Not sorry for saying) fucking gun nuts are complete assholes that don't even live here.

Look, don't get me wrong here. I'm all for the second amendment. But these zealot ass-clowns don't give a rat's magnificent ass about you and me, because they don't fucking live here. There has to be a limit on this gun issue. And yes, our lawmakers are complete idiots when it comes to legislation. They continually place unconstitutional punishments on law-abiding citizens, and let the fucking terrorist do what they please. Yet the last thing we need, is some paranoid White guy, coming from suburbia shooting up a bus or train because he's afraid of Brown, or Black people.

The Illinois Rifle Association is no fucking better than the evil, deranged NRA. They don't represent the people. They are joined at the hip with gun manufactures. There is a simple solution for all of this. Raise taxes on these greedy rich dicks, and their corporations. This way we can have FULLY staffed police departments. If they don't like it, MOVE to Moscow like that French prick, and tell me how ya living then.

Dicks.

One dead, one wounded in shooting outside club

One dead, one wounded in shooting outside club

Wait a minute. Two cars full of gang members sitting in a Walgreen's parking lot, and nobody thought that was odd, or should alert police? Even the Walgreen's employees, or security guard?

And the beat goes on.

Man shot 3 times near West Side police station - Chicago News and Weather | FOX 32 News

Man shot 3 times near West Side police station - Chicago News and Weather | FOX 32 News

Don't panic folks. It's LOCAL FOX WFLD. This station doesn't feed you bullshit, like its parent channel.

But I digress. I know this area well. It has a high police presence. Yet, since being built, the terrorist just move. They hangout at bus, and rail stops, laundromats, and those so-called convenience stores. The police see them, hell I'd even bet they know these douche-bags first names. But here's the rub. They are all terrorist, and refuse to "Rat" the shooters out. They rather take it upon themselves for settling scores. And as we all know, innocent people are always caught in the crossfire.

One would think those cameras would come in handy just 3 blocks away? I wonder if any are there? If so, the terrorist will soon be caught, before another innocent life is caught in the crossfire.

Suburbs try to fight heroin's grim hold

Suburbs try to fight heroin's grim hold

Being the bearer of bad news is in no way nice. Yet, once again, I must forecast what shall come. On many occasions the warning was foretold. The coming of the proliferation of drugs is always the beginning. The violence for control of the streets soon follows.

The hard dope, sadly will filter in our neighborhoods. What can only slow it to a trickle, is prevention on a visual scale. Exposing our youth, at certain age points, both at home and in public, and private schools may help. Longer prison terms for dealing these destructive drugs, should be the norm.

But, as far as marijuana is concerned, States should look closely at it from an economic lens.

Such non-drastic approaches should stem the soon escalating proliferation these suburbs are seeing materialize right before them. Nip it in the bud now while there is an opportunity. If you don't, the violence will surely soon follow.

Father recalls poignant final moment with slain daughter

Father recalls poignant final moment with slain daughter

I'm sick of it also sir.

Once again the terrorist take another innocent life, as our lawmakers sit on their collective asses and do nothing. For nearly three decades an unconstitutional hand gun ban didn't work. One would think with all that time wasted, one politician, or the State Attorney would come up with a plan dealing with this senseless violence. But no. They let it grow as the months turned into years.

They honestly didn't care. They simply saw it as Black on Black, Brown on Brown crime. It appears they had this morbid hope, that they would all just kill one another off, and problem solved. Even to this day, they refuse admitting, they (Lawmakers) are the sole root of this situation by collaborating with their wealthy backers in depressing education, and employment opportunities in cities across the nation.

Yet here we are once again, letting more months turn into more years. Yes sir. I'm sick of it also.

3 teens shot, 1 fatally, Saturday evening

3 teens shot, 1 fatally, Saturday evening

Hate being "That Guy", but they will keep doing this until you lawmakers get serious. Education and JOBS are the key factor in fighting this menace. But for some strange reason, you lawmakers, and corporate big-wigs think raiding pension funds, slashing services via firing public employees is the solution. It isn't.

It hasn't worked. It just makes more crime, and public unrest. Go back too the drawing board and learn from those mistakes. A good education and jobs will always make the State, and Country stronger. That's how you invest in the future.

A city in crisis seeks answers

A city in crisis seeks answers

Interesting article not once mentioning the unconstitutional debacle lead by former Mayor Daley, and the spineless State legislature.

Why does a repeat offender receive probation for several weapons violations, while a goofball receives a two years stint for shooting himself in the leg? Simple answer. Our lawmakers just don't give a damn, unless it happens where they live. Hell, if you had a chance to witness yesterdays racist diatribe by that escaped mental patient that suckers people out of their money, you know exactly what I mean. These type of spineless douche-bags never take, or accept any responsibility until it affects them.

Instead of upping the ante on prison terms for violators of weapons laws, our judicial system felt a slap on the wrist was the way to go. Our lawmakers decided it was just peachy to raise fees, and fines on legitimate, law-abiding gun owners, while a scummy terrorist could get his or her best friend, or relative to travel to the burbs, or across State lines, and buy one with no out of pocket expense.

Now, after decades, some of these lawmakers had an odorous brain-fart, and thought, maybe we should go after the terrorist, and straw buyer. No fucking shit? This is what really irks me. The bulk of these fuck-nuts have law degrees, and it took decades for them to figure that out. This is what you get when you elect, or give money too ass-clowns. Decades of an unconstitutional ban, and a spineless State legislature. Mention that.

Crazy, but people are beginning to get fed up with being terrorized. Now it's time for people to begin turning these punks in. Help your neighborhood be safe for children. Tell law enforcement.

No bail for suspects in Hadiya Pendleton slaying

Little late ya think? Will you let the "Getaway Driver" walk on "Probation"?

I'm so pissed at our elected officials for even letting this walking crap-bag be on the streets after getting convicted 3 times for weapons violations.

No words.

On this lonely street, nobody heard, nobody saw

On this lonely street, nobody heard, nobody saw

If you read this article like I did, you might walk away with puzzlement on what the author is insinuating. Is he "Blaming The Neighbors"? I came away with the feeling he's saying they just weren't "Inquisitive" enough neighbors to pry into other people's lives.

True enough, horrific events took place in the building. But, if the people never "Heard" unusual screams, or other sounds, why would an interest arise? It's also true enough that a "Teen-age boy" would notice a number of women. Yet a mind of that age isn't fashioned for deep reasoning on the comings and goings of such a group unless, they inquired of such.

I'm relieved they caught these monsters. Yet, at the same time, I'm a little creep-ed out at the authors suggestion, that we keep to ourselves, and don't really care. Hey, read it for yourself.

In defense of drones

In defense of drones

Times are definitely changing. It strikes me as odd the debate over this issue. On the one hand, you have the "Stop it Crowd". And on the other, you have the "It's saving soldiers lives". As a veteran, war is not very nice. It's ugly, brutal, and horrific.

That being said, for those that haven't been apart of such, do me a favor? Tap down on your rhetoric. Reading about war in a book, or newspaper doesn't make you an expert. Experience does. How odd is it, that everyone was down with war when the towers came down? Yet when they slowly learned how brutal, scary, and powerful this nation truly is when it came to striking back, they recoil in absolute horror.

If anyone truly wishes an end to wars, keep a close eye on corporations, and religions. These entities go into foreign lands exploiting the people, causing unrest. Sure, they always claim they are "Making lives better", but they never accept responsibility for their actions, when the unrest begins. Religions have been fighting since their formation. Yet they claim it's done in the name of peace and love. Go figure? Corporations exploit the land and the people, and boldly boast, it's all about the bucks.

As a veteran, I much rather a drone strike on a suspected terrorist, and traitor of The United States of America. I acknowledge there will be collateral damage with such a strike. But we had loved ones in those towers. War, until it ends, is always ugly, brutal, and horrific.

Boy, 15, arrested 19th time after armed robbery

Boy, 15, arrested 19th time after armed robbery

So much for the criminal justice system, and the "Oh give him a second chance crowd". How many times must we the people plead with you officials, to get serious about illegally obtained firearms? I'm pretty sure the arresting officers are just shaking their heads because of the fact you let this mini-terrorist back on the streets.

The police did their job. The criminal justice system not only failed police, but the public also. "19 times", "Two weapons charges". When oh when will you get serious? I get the thousands of petty excuses. Oh he's only 15. He came from a bad family. He's on drugs. "19 times"? Have we learned our lesson yet? What could you possibly be waiting for? Are you hoping an armed civilian just do your job for you and shoot him? On his first weapons charge, he should have been charged as an adult. I take it the arresting officers testimony wasn't good enough? Now I know why they talk about you people in the prosecutors office. You go all out keeping innocent people behind bars, because you don't want to admit, you fucked up. Yet, at the drop of a hat. You let mini-terrorist out, "19 times".

Illinois companies warn of 1,200 layoffs this winter

Illinois companies warn of 1,200 layoffs this winter

Gee! I wonder how many of them received tax cuts? My guess is probably all.

What a waste of taxpayer funds. Oh when will our not so bright politicians learn? My guess again, probably never. You know why they will never learn? Well it's really simple. They cover it up until it can't be covered up anymore.

We beg them not to give them this money because time, and time again, they fold shop, the big wigs walk away with millions, and the workers are given a big, fat finger. It is a very ignorant, and vicious cycle that must be broken. It's a fact that can't be argued against. Look at how they played us with a mentally unstable judge? I even wonder if she owns a gun? I'm betting she does. Why? Cronyism, and utter disdain for the people they allegedly serve.

So there you have it. They cover it up until it can't be covered up anymore.

Growing clamor for Obama to visit Chicago, address city's violence

Growing clamor for Obama to visit Chicago, address city's violence

Well, I have no problem with such an action. But, in reality, this matter is up to the Mayor, Governor, City Council, and State Legislators for any action that must be taken. These elected representatives have only come up with legislation that digs into the wallets of law abiding citizens. So far, they have come up with zero legislation dealing with the criminal aspect of this issue.

No stiffer penalties for criminals in possession of illegally obtained firearms. No stiffer penalties for "Straw Purchasers". I just read an article from another news source stating, "Gun violence concentrated in specific areas of the city". Or words to that effect. Well guess what? It will spread. That's the real criminal aspect of this issue.

History has taught those that choose to learn, the "Pattern" criminals undertake when scrutiny is concentrated. They Move. So once again legislators here's your solution. Deal with the criminal aspect via stiffer penalties, no more probation. That one action alone, slows the movement of these terrorist.

Chicago marchers ask Obama for help over gun violence

Chicago marchers ask Obama for help over gun violence

Check this out.  " He also called for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to help patrol the streets of Chicago."  The Rev. Jesse Jackson said that.

If that isn't a "Sound The Terrorist Alarm", I'm baffled. The sad part, he's right. It is a terrorist issue. We know what caused this senseless violence to spiral out of control. It's just basic economics. Our elected representatives think its better to slash services, and give away hard earned tax payer funds to corporations that don't need them. Look at the companies that stuffed those tax cuts into their pockets. Look what they did. Some folded shop and moved. Others, slashed employees hours, citing "Health Care Cost" as the blame. Really? What about the tax payer money in your pockets?

Once again, look at the youth unemployment rate in any city. Double digits. Look at how politicians treat government employees, no matter the locale. Politicians attack them as greedy, yet stuff thousands, sometimes millions in their pockets, so they can give away tax cuts, and raid pension plans.

To a certain extent, we really don't need people from Homeland Security patrolling the streets. That will cost more money. What we can do that will not cost much is legalize marijuana. As for the serious drugs, we need our sentencing guidelines tightened. As for gun safety, get the background checks in-place, and close the loopholes. We also need serious jail time for those that violate existing gun laws. Remember when I told you about the two examples here, and in New York? If not, here it is again. The ass-clown here got 3, yes folks 3, probation convictions. So much for getting tough huh? The football player that shot himself in the leg, 2 years. See the problem? So let's be smart and take that tax payer money back from those clowns, and really put it to good use.

Man shot, critically hurt after attackers enter Southwest Side apartment

Man shot, critically hurt after attackers enter Southwest Side apartment

It's obvious they know who these ass-clowns are. Yet, in this "No Snitch" world these idiots live in, they make it impossible for law enforcement to do its job. Removing ass-clowns off the streets so your children can play outside without fear, is the job of police. Not you.

Who cares if you tell the police who they are, and where they live? Your kids. When you get your face in front of a camera and bemoan, "The kids can't even play outside", look in the mirror, it's your fault. All of you with this bullshit "No Snitch" rule, are the very reason kids can't play outside. The children are afraid of your actions when you take matters into your own hands. You know why? Because ass-clowns like this incident produced, brings the bullshit to your home.

Let the police do their jobs. Rat these bastards out for your children's safety.

Shootings leave 1 dead, 3 hurt

Shootings leave 1 dead, 3 hurt

The terrorist will continue this cycle of violence until lawmakers get serious.

It's been established that a majority of Americans support universal background checks, and closing the loopholes. The only problem I view, is the various laws in each State when dealing with people that violate current gun laws. As stated yesterday, a football player in one State gets two years for shooting himself in the leg. Meanwhile, in another State, a douche-bag, with a criminal history, gets probation three times.

Yes, each State is unique. Yet our governors, and State Attorneys must convene and settle on a more uniform/universal sentencing guideline when it comes to violators of gun laws. It's not a complicated issue due to the uniqueness of each State. Each State in this Union has a gang, and drug problem, which results in terrorist actions where weapons are always used. So once again, I'm throwing out an idea for our lawmakers in each State to ponder. Until then, the cycle of violence will continue.

The gang crisis: Emanuel owns it now

The gang crisis: Emanuel owns it now

Ya think? This morning on our local news program, the top cop was ask the "difference between strategies employed in New York versus Chicago." His answer was similar to exactly what I've been writing about on this little blog post. In a nutshell, he basically said (paraphrasing here) stop treating these douche-bags like little kids, and slap the hell out of them with stiffer punishments. He gave a couple of great examples such as the loser that got popped with not one, but three separate charges of felony possession of an unregistered firearm. What did the douche-bag get for each offense? Three separate "Probation" slaps on the wrist. Remember the football player that shot himself in the leg at a New York nightclub? He got two years. Go figure. A terrorist walks free on probation three times, and an idiot stuffing a gun in sweatpants of all things, gets two years.

What a difference a State makes. So I ask our do nothing lawmakers one more time. Fix the fucking sentencing laws in this State! A criminal with an unregistered, illegally obtained firearm does not deserve a probation sentence. If you lawmakers do anything for the residents of this State, change the sentencing guidelines, and start handing out some prison time to these douche-bags. If a football player is that damn dumb to put a gun in his sweatpants, then shoot himself in the leg, and gets slapped with two years in prison. Don't you think we should be handing out a minimum of  ten years for real criminals? Oh, I'm sorry. I meant terrorist.
