If this isn't the ultimate act of stupidity, well, you never know, I'm sure someone out there will top it. Hopefully, like most of you, I'm guessing this jerk had a court date. That is the only logical explanation for this numb-skull being downtown. But then again, this is Chicago and there is always the possibility someone dropped the ball. Remember, these "ankle-straps" are allegedly tamper-proof.
Most of you probably understand why I speak for tougher sentencing guidelines by now. Once a person seeking, or contemplating a crime, a hard 10, 15, or 20 years will serve as a deterrence. Hell, I'd go so far as suggesting this Bozo has an extensive criminal record. If they cannot rehabilitate themselves, or better still, refuse, why bother? Lock them up and make them pick up a book, not dumb-bells.
As for our violent criminals, fry em, gas em, inject em. "An eye for an eye" a wise being once said. But this tool/jerk, lock em up for a hard 20. Stupidity has a price. Now make this clown pay it.
