I may catch some flak for this, but dude, baseball is a business. You are near that point in life when skills diminish. If a team offered you 200, 250 at bats, you have to make the most of those at bats, as your career is on its downward turn. The money for your services comes with the age factor. Plus a little financial planning for the future can't hurt. That's your fault for looking for too much money at that age.
