A Short Burts Of Thoughts

Okay, maybe it is just little old me. Nevertheless, I'm finding myself becoming more and more annoyed with the "holier than thou crowd". You know those people that say you're going to "burn" if you don't change your ways. Well lately these same people (bad choice of description)never practice what they preach. That "do as I say, and not as I do" gang, seems to remind me of the old "Pharisees and Sanhedrin" of ancient times. You might remember them, when a certain person threatened their way of life. They conspired to have that person brutally beaten, and nailed to a cross.

As you look around you these days, with the advances in technology, and nearly instantaneous video, these "twins" of ancient times continue to lie, and deceive people. If you haven't noticed, they now feel much better about such lies and deceit, by using a "different" terminology. You know, like that phrase they used to exclude kids from a swimming pool, sheepishly dubbed "different complexion". Or the outright blatant vocabulary use by people like Newt Gingrich and Tom Tancreado. Nevertheless, this "holier than thou crowd", relentlessly will never apologize for the usage of such language, or actions. They insist that they know better, and everyone else is dead wrong.

You have heard them scream from the top of their collective voices about the sanctity of marriage, yet continue to break their own vows, and scar their wives and children for life. They use the media to spread their message of hate, distrust, and outright lies about people attempting to repair the damage they have done to this country. They never accept responsibility for their actions. They just stand in-front of a camera and say; I'm sorry. Or, refuse to apologize. We have all heard the saying that "people fear change". But change happens all the time. We change our looks, age, attitudes, and surroundings all the time. Yet when we use racism, religion, or just plain hatred as an excuse to prevent change, we fall back to the days of the Pharisees and the Sanhedrin. Hopefully this time around, the people attempting to fix what is broken, can do it without getting nailed.

But then again, that's just a theory.
