Madness Continues: 5 wounded in Sunday shootings

https://chicago.suntimes.com/news/5-wounded-in-sunday-shootings/

Well, it's New Years Eve and over 500 people have been murdered in 2018. https://chicago.suntimes.com/news/chicago-murder-total-2018-homicides-police-department/

That is a horrible number. In the meantime, our politicians and clergy continue ignoring the carnage. There's still no joint press conference detailing a plan of action. There's still no mass protest on city halls and state capitols. If you are wondering why I type city halls and state capitols are not being held accountable, it's because every major city has similar numbers and Chicago isn't the number one murder capitol in the United States. Are you still wondering why?

Madness Continues: 7 wounded in Saturday shootings

https://chicago.suntimes.com/news/7-wounded-in-saturday-shootings/

Once again, you know how this goes. Meanwhile, our politicians and clergy continue ignoring the carnage. There's still no joint press conference explaining how they will tackle it. There's still no mass protest at city halls and state capitols. Are you still wondering why?

Madness Continues: 4 wounded in shootings since Friday evening

https://chicago.suntimes.com/news/weekend-chicago-shootings-dec-31-2018/

You know how this goes. Meanwhile, our politicians and clergy continue ignoring the carnage. Instead of focusing on solving the problem they are squabbling over what to name an expressway or building after a former president. Yeah,  you read that right. People are getting killed, and maimed while these slapnuts argue over naming a building or expressway. Are you still wondering why?

Madness Continues: 4 wounded Thursday in city shootings

https://chicago.suntimes.com/news/thursday-shooting-roundup-dec-27-2018/

You know how this goes. Meanwhile, our politicians and clergy continue ignoring all the carnage. There's still no joint press conference explaining how they will fight it. There's still no mass protest at city halls and state capitols demanding action. Are you still wondering why?

Madness Continues: 1 killed, 6 wounded in Wednesday shootings

https://chicago.suntimes.com/news/1-killed-6-wounded-in-wednesday-shootings-2/

Let's just hope these horrible numbers keep going down. Last night some boob decided they would speed down Central Avenue evading police and cause a really bad accident. I'm 3 or 4 blocks away and heard the very loud boom when the jackass t-boned another vehicle. All I do know is when they blocked off Central Avenue, it must have not been a good outcome for any involved. In the meantime, our politicians and clergy still don't give a damn about the shootings.

Madness Continues: 1 killed, 1 wounded in Christmas Day shootings

https://chicago.suntimes.com/opinion/editorial-should-gun-offenders-do-more-time-heres-what-candidates-for-mayor-say/

Damn shame isn't it? In the meantime, our politicians and clergy are still sticking their collective heads in the sand. There's still no joint press conference explaining how they will tackle the violence. There's still no mass marches on city halls and state capitols demanding action. If you don't believe it, check out the word salad second link. After you are done reading it, ask yourself the same question. My answer is an emphatic yes. They should be given longer prison stays.
