As the new year approaches the GOP controlled senate still hasn't allowed a vote on gun reform legislation. There's no votes allowed for the Violence Against Women Act. Some states are passing "Red Flag Laws" but that's not enough when you consider the flow of guns into states with stronger gun laws from those with weaker ones.
