A Chicago man is charged with attempting to kill the same woman twice. - chicagotribune.com

A Chicago man is charged with attempting to kill the same woman twice. - chicagotribune.com

There must be more to this story then meets the eye.

A million dollars bail? Or 10% percent of that amount? What type of job does this person have, and why did they let him post bail with his past record? That is just one warning sign too many. There is definitely something very strange here. Did the prosecution team, and the judge fall asleep here?

Any of you reading this can imagine lawyers just slobbering at a shot at this crown prince of buffoonery. This young man is about to get paid, big time.

Video catches drug smugglers using catapult to fling pot over border - Chicago Sun-Times

WTF!

Well, I guess you have to give these numb-skulls credit on the ingenuity scale. I'm just curious of who was on the other side catching the weed?

Come on lawmakers, it's time to legalize pot, and put a stop to this insanity. A catapult? Are you kidding me? Really? A catapult? ROTFLMFAO!

Yeah sounds like a plan. Boy, how on earth could they have considered getting that money back is beyond comprehension.

At the very least, you have to give them credit for having the balls to try. Well, that is, until they showed up on "Taps". Nice try anyway. Not!

Narcotics cops: 'We had better day than the Bears' - chicagotribune.com

I've said it once, and I'll continue saying it until these Puritanical Prudes wake up and get into the 21st Century. Legalize Pot!

The studies have been done. Once again, lawmakers, this is a Multi-Million/Billion dollar a year industry. We already know how Booze is far more dangerous then this plant. Legalize it, not only a medicinal, but recreational level as well.

Employers, keep the same standards you have in-place now, as you would treat an employee coming too work "Under Any Influence". No more excuses please.

Legalize Pot. Tax the hell out of it like you do tobacco, and Booze.

Report paints bleak economic picture for minorities - Chicago Sun-Times

It took them this long?

Someone should tell these pencil-pushers to get out more often. This is very old news even before Wall Street robbed the American people blind. It has been this way for years since the destruction of "Mom & Pop" stores in cities across the country.

A cash infusion, then bankruptcy - chicagotribune.com

A cash infusion, then bankruptcy - chicagotribune.com

Boy, talk about been there, done that.

In the not too distant past, I worked for Zenith Electronics (Rauland Division) in Melrose Park, Illinois. They had been bought by LG Electronics (Thank you Former President Clinton for signing NAFTA), who immediately poured nearly $300,000 into a modernization plan to update the existing warehouse for "Doubling Production". Well, that grand plan did not work out so good. Instead of just giving the employees there a One Dollar Raise, they could have saved Millions of dollars a year, and avoided the costly move to Mexico. LG Electronics could not come close to the production those hard working men and women put into that warehouse making television sets for millions of people in this great nation.

Although Zenith did not go into bankruptcy, they did in fact bankrupt hundreds of American workers. Again, thank you NAFTA, Republican Congress, and Former President Clinton. The linked story is just an example of how greed destroys the American Dream. Instead of sharing the profits with dedicated employees, corporate big-wigs think it's better to buy "Golden Toilets", then to give employees a measly dollar raise.

Something is wrong with this picture. Things of this nature should never happen, but they do. Just take a moment to think about the people this greed grab has destroyed. For once, just think about that.

The Watchdogs: Reputed drug kingpin played the City Hall game - Chicago Sun-Times

The Watchdogs: Reputed drug kingpin played the City Hall game - Chicago Sun-Times

Well, well, well. Why am I not surprised to see Alderman Burke's name in this article? Could this be a reason for him having "Police Protection" at the tax payers expense? I for one sure would, when dealing with people of this nature. Wouldn't you?

This article really speaks a lot about our intelligence collection method law enforcement implements. Burke sits on committees that should have been made aware of this person's status. Yet all we get is the good old "I had no idea excuse". The guy lived in your ward dude! Isn't Burke on the Police, and Fire Committee? Why are our elected leaders not getting such information? It makes sense if you really have nothing to hide.

One would think it is a good practice to do a little background check on people coming in your office, or donating money, to have a little insight on who, or whom you are dealing with. Hey elected, and running for office officials, we have a security problem in Chicago with all these gangs running rampant. Ever heard of holding Briefings with Law Enforcement?

It might enlighten you.

Birds, fish, and now cows'? Well scientist have a handy explanation for all these strange incidents. The old-timers call it pestilence, the new-age-rs, disease, or blunt force trauma.

Anyway you cut it, there's some pretty strange stuff going on.

Chico: City clerk job ‘waste of money ... time’ - Chicago Sun-Times

Chico: City clerk job ‘waste of money ... time’ - Chicago Sun-Times

Some people just don't think before they speak.

Here you have a simple case of a politician yammering about something with NO PLAN for replacing the system. I can only surmise, this nonsensical yammering was done just for attention seeking. The idea of just letting a grocery store sell "City Stickers" is beyond absurd. The current City Clerk replied to how UN-thought-through this yammering was when he said:

"Del Valle said he has used the office to put City Council meetings on the Internet, opening city government. The state Legislature created the office to be independent of the mayor’s office to be a “point of access for the public” to learn about the actions of the City Council, Del Valle said. It would take a change in state law to abolish it and would result in no savings because the job of selling vehicle stickers, parking permits and keeping track of the City Council would have to be transferred — along with the employees to do it — to other city departments, Del Valle said.
For its $8 million budget, the department brings in $100 million in revenue, Del Valle said."

Daley%20says%20tax%20increase%20will%20send%20businesses%20out%20of%20state

Daley says tax increase will send businesses out of state

Guess King Daley hasn't looked at unemployment ever since he took office. He may have been to busy selling city services to bother with such insignificant details.

I love that quote: "Tax increase will send businesses out of state". Ever heard of NAFTA King Daley? Businesses have been fleeing States all across the country since that pay-off was signed. And besides, what do you care? You got your money from all your ponzi schemes. How many jobs have you Created since you were elected? Please don't put Wal Mart on your resume either. It was the Aldermen/women that told you about bringing them in after you couldn't get what you wanted from other companies.

Bout as clueless as Palin. Sometimes King Daley, one just has to know when to STFU.

There is sleazy, and there is just that one step below sleazy. What this lawyer said, is that one step below.

I could go on, and on about how disgusting that statement alone is, but then, I'd be stooping to his level.

Better Government Association sues Chicago Police Department - Chicago Sun-Times

Better Government Association sues Chicago Police Department - Chicago Sun-Times

Last time I checked, aldermen/women can carry guns. So why is this relic wasting tax payer dollars for police protection?

Doesn't he make enough money from the tax payers to hire his own security detail, since he thinks he some type of important person? Why does he have a detail and others don't? It makes you wonder if his constituents really dislike him that much?

The city is in a financial mess. This guy having a security detail is beyond ridiculous. You want to solve the budget problem? Stop wasting our tax dollars on stupid stuff like this.

U.S. House limits info on auto-leasing perk - Chicago Sun-Times

U.S. House limits info on auto-leasing perk - Chicago Sun-Times

In all honesty, this "Perk" should be eliminated. If they can't out-right buy a vehicle with the money they are stealing from us, we deserve to get the shaft.

If you are making $174,000.00 a year, I think you can afford purchasing your own vehicle. People making way less do it. Why are we even giving them this?
