In the meantime, there's still no passage of legislation banning assault weapons permanently. There's still no passage of legislation closing the gun show loophole. There's still nothing being done about repeat gun offenders serving life sentences. There's still no joint press conference from law enforcement demanding the repeal of open carry laws. Go figure.
