If it were me, I'd let her stay in jail and implore the judge to refuse bail. I really don't give a shit if this is her first offense. What she did is beyond stupid and an embarrassment to her parents. Now, they have to pay for her gross stupidity. Lastly, for the rest of the parents that had dumb-ass kids involved in this act of stupidity, crack down on your delinquents. Discipline the shit out of them so you don't have to cough up bail money.

The second link might see a charge dropped moment simply for the fact he is a licensed gun owner and will plead self-defense. Lastly, it will be interesting how law enforcement will discover how that 15-year-old got access to a firearm and shot a teacher.
