13-year-old found shot to death in North Lawndale only after mother reported him missing

I posted this yesterday with questions like, why was he out at that time? The link yesterday also hadn't confirmed his age. Now we know it was just a kid. The gunshot detector was removed from that area which could have helped officers find him sooner. The only thing we all can hope for, is that they catch this rabid monster that killed a child.
