Chicago aldermen approve Emanuel's G-8, NATO protest crackdown
Only 4 voted against.
New Mayor, same old same old, with the exception of a major suppression of free speech, and assembly. Somewhere, someplace there is a Mayor pondering how they can get a mass exodus of people from Chicago to a city that just isn't into power grabs. A place where all pay their fair share in taxes, and enjoy no cuts in social services.
Ah but who am I kidding? That just sounds way to good. 4 is always better than none.
