Well, there you have it folks. One would find it highly disappointing that the mayor of this city has other priorities such as changing garbage pick-up days, and a huge increase in property taxes. Yet, when you think about it, this is the blueprint for ignoring the carnage. You make neighborhoods highly costly for the elderly, poor working class, and the disabled grandparents of these wayward, fatherless youth.

We all know a majority of minority homeowners can't afford the property tax increase because many are elderly and on a fixed income. Racist politicians know that's how you get them, and their grand-kids out of such neighborhoods, so wealthy Whites can move back in because they can afford the increase. This isn't a conspiracy folks. It's a well documented fact from the late 60's and 70's call the "Daley 21 Plan". Look it up. In a nutshell you move Brown people out of the city.

Anyway, politicians know when an increase in violence engulfs neighborhoods, people will move out. This leaves the area easier for policing so they do very little in actually stopping the violence. Politicians actually collude in the closing of schools in these affected areas also. This is how they get their coveted charter (Pay/Private) schools. Now you get a slight hint at why politicians continue ignoring the carnage.
