Federal judge blasts sheriff’s office for negligence in teen’s rape case - Chicago Sun-Times


If I'm correct, and always shall be, the focus should be on the Chicago Police Officers that arrested the youth. They didn't believe a word the youth said, and passed that judgement on towards the sheriff guards. Hell of a lawsuit here.

They (Chicago Police) just arrest and wash their hands clean of the problem until they appear in court. Nobody cares if the youth in question was, or is a gang member. The problem is verification/communication. If any youth informs you of their age, it should be verified. The youth in question obviously "waived" the right to remain silent by informing all involved of his or her age. Yet, no one took the time to pick up a fucking telephone.

Now a kid is raped, and scared for life regardless of gang affiliation or not. This is the end result of preconceived prejudice. So judge, blast them all.Yep! Hell of a lawsuit.
