Quinn Calls On Legislators To ‘Do The Right Thing’ On State Income Tax « CBS Chicago



Well voters you have a choice come November.

Do you really want your state to look like Texas, or Kansas? Texas can't afford re-paving their streets. Kansas is in serious red ink. Tax cuts don't work for ordinary people. They only help people that don't need them. If you like roads, schools, police, and fire departments, put pressure on your legislators for making this state income tax permanent.

The guy running as the GOP candidate will certainly cut taxes, and increase them ordinary, working, middle class, and low wage workers. You can take that to the bank. If this income tax legislation passes, corporations will take a second look. Any company that sees stability will come a running. The governor of Texas is running around the country begging companies to come there. If that state was stable, he wouldn't be doing such.

So ask yourself this, should you  own a company. Do you want your product destroyed on unpaved roads? A permanent state income tax will reduce such worries. You will not have your governor running around the country, begging companies to relocate in an unpaved road, dangerous bridges, state. You do have a choice come November. Stability, or complete chaos? The GOP candidate will bring you chaos.
